This is the basic equipment and uniform package for BattleMasters™ students. It consists of
1) a two-piece uniform constructed of middleweight 65% polyester 35% cotton wash and wear fabric. 3/4 length sleeve pullover top features generous armhole for freedom of movement and hook and loop closure for form fitting appearance. Spliced color block pants are made with a 1-1/2 inch elastic waist and a drawstring;
2) Padded headgear: Black PVC shell with high density foam. Adjustable feature in back allows for a secure and comfortable fit. Removable face cage and throat protector fasten with hook and loop closure. Small Samurai Kanji symbol screen print on back;
3) a Padded Shortsword: The shortsword or kodachi is called the "sword of preference" for beginning and intermediate combatants who practice and match wits in the Ultimate Physical Game of Chess. From the beginner to the master, this two-foot short sword offers speed and agility. The length of the blade also offers a strong defense as well as a good offense. This reliable and forgiving medium-range, one-handed sword offers 18 inches of striking area with 6 inches of handle.
